Wristbands must be worn until the premiere is over. Any wristband that has been tampered with or removed will not be considered valid, they said.

Stephanie Meyer returns to pen her premier novella
Yes, that’s right, all you adoring fans – or fanatics, rather. Right as you were beginning to grow restless and impatient, wondering if she would ever make her return and satisfy your burning curiosity, Stephenie Meyer breaks her silence with the announcement you’ve all been waiting for.
After a nearly two-year long hiatus (though at times it’s seemed much, much longer, hasn’t it?), the beloved author will release some new material, barely feeding our hungry appetites. No, really. Barely. Sadly the new book will not be a full-length addition to the “Twilight” series but rather a novella, which, for you uncultured types, is basically a fancy term for a “short story.” Exactly how short, you may ask? A solid 192 pages. Enough to *ahem* feed on, but not quite enough for complete satisfaction. Because that, of course, is how you keep your fans hungry for more (pun intended).
Now, for the tasty details. The novella, the aptly titled, “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner,” is about just that: Bree Tanner and her, well, short second life. Even for diehard fans, this name might not ring a bell upon first mention. To put it simply, Bree Tanner was a newborn vampire introduced at the tail end of “Eclipse”, who died nine pages later. Yep, poor girl wasn’t even worth an entire chapter. And if that’s not enough to jog your memory, she was one of the newborn vampires created by Victoria in order to exact her revenge on Bella and the Cullen family. Bree is captured and basically spills the beans about Victoria’s plans, hoping that the Cullens and/or the Volturi don’t kill her. Well, that obviously didn’t work out, ‘cause within the next five minutes, she’s dead on the ground with a broken neck. Yeah, ain’t that a happy ending? Anyway, that’s Bree Tanner in a nutshell.
Admittedly, this could be an interesting story. We’ve never found out firsthand what a newborn vampire’s life (or afterlife, or death, or…let’s just go with “existence”) is like. Of course it will be enlightening to see their side of the story through their creepy, red, glowing, bloodthirsty, cannibalistic eyes. And as “Twilight” fans – I use the term conservatively – we’ll pretty much take whatever we can get, right? Hecks yes.
So here’s the important stuff. Knowing most of Stephenie Meyer’s followers, it’s safe to assume that you, dear reader, clicked on this article and probably scrolled straight to this section to find out the stuff that matters. No, you don’t care what the book is about. No, no, none of that matters. All you care about is the who, what, where, when, why, how, whatever… So here’s that.
Who: Stephenie Meyer
What: New “Twilight” series novella, entitled, “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella”
When: The book goes on sale at 12:01 a.m. on June 5th, 2010.
Where: Anywhere books are sold, though I highly recommend your Wausau Barnes & Noble (nope, no bias here) which is currently accepting preorders for the book.
Why: If you’re truly a “Twilight” fan, you don’t even need a reason why
How: Money would be good. Most societies frown upon theft. So here’s the deal, you take the book to the cash register. You hand it to the kind employee. You watch them roll their eyes, and try not to notice, ‘cause if you pick a fight, it’s a one-way ticket to, well, not getting your book as fast as you would otherwise have. They tell you your total, which will be somewhere in the realm of $13.99 plus tax. You fork over the dough, take the book and sprint out of there before you even give them a chance to give you your change. Change? You don’t care about change. You just want your freaking book. Now read, you fool. Read. But seriously, that whole sitting-on-the-curb-right-outside-the-store-entrance thing is so played out. Wait till you get home. Please.
And just as an extra bit of information, $1 from each book purchased will be donated to the Red Cross international relief efforts (oh, the irony). Also, if you’re too cheap to go out and buy the dang book, it will be available free of charge from June 7th until July 5th at www.breetanner.com. But past evidence of “Twilight” fans obsessive antics will support the assumption that you will most definitely spring for a copy of the actual book, because 1) it looks so darn cool next to your other “Twilight” books. And your “Twilight” t-shirts. And your “Twilight” umbrella. And your “Twilight” pencils. And…well, we need not go into detail. And 2) because you are so not going to wait the extra 48 hours until it’s available online. No. No, you’re not. Don’t lie to yourself. Now go. Run like the wind. Your Edward Cullen lunchbox is getting lonely.

Pattison Fears the Day the Twilight Hype Dies Down
The 23-year-old, who attracts throngs of screaming fans wherever he goes thanks to his starring role in the vampire films, admitted: "If it suddenly dies down and suddenly no-one is interested ... yeah, it is worrying - it's scary to think that it all might just fundamentally stop after the Twilight thing's finished."
The actor, who is currently starring in drama Remember Me with Pierce Brosnan, added: "When I did Twilight, I had no idea it was going to be so big."
He went on: "I didn't know they were going to make the sequels afterward. ... But I don't really have any regrets about it. It's just, you can't. There's nothing you can do about it."
R-Patz also refused to say he could be classed as an Idol.
"I don't really know if I am [an idol]," he said. "It's still just the sort of character that people like a lot. I try and avoid promoting myself like that cause otherwise you end up with a huge burden of responsibility."
